This summer, our popular children’s holiday club is back once again! “Teambuilders” will be five mornings of non-stop action. Children will discover five awesome characters from the Bible — seeing what life is like on God’s team.
This year, for the first time, the churches in Stocksfield and Prudhoe are joining together to run the holiday club across two venues. Children aged 5-7 (who will be going into school years 1-3 from September 2018) will meet at Prudhoe Methodist Church, and children aged 8-10 (school years 4-6 from September 2018) will be based at Stocksfield Baptist Church. We’ve staggered the start times to make it workable even if you have children at both venues.
The club is free of charge and takes place every weekday morning from Monday 23rd July until Friday 27th July. Hosted by an entertaining and inspiring team of presenters with very silly names, and using tried and tested resources from Scripture Union, the programme includes songs, drama, games, craft and construction projects, competitions, storytelling and refreshments.
On the Friday evening we will be holding a barbecue at Stocksfield Baptist Church as a fitting celebration to end the week, providing an opportunity for all the family to come and see what the children have been up to all week.
All the leaders are drawn from the churches in Stocksfield and Prudhoe. They complete training in advance of the event and hold enhanced DBS disclosures where appropriate.
