Sunday Worship
We meet together for worship every Sunday at 10.00am at our building in Stocksfield. Our Sunday worship services incorporate many dimensions:
- Our worship style is a blend of traditional and modern music with a commitment to creativity and use of different media.
- Our preaching and teaching style aim to apply the unchanging truths and principles of the Bible to the challenges and complexities of 21st century living.
- We value the sacraments of baptism and communion and celebrate these regularly.
- We encourage the use of spiritual gifts such as prophecy and healing.
- Our morning worship includes a full programme of teaching and activities for children and young people, with a creche for pre-school children.
- On the first Sunday of every month we hold a special service where visitors are particularly welcome. 'First Sunday' offers contemporary music and other media, and explores key life issues from a Christian perspective.
- Our morning service is followed by a time for refreshments and chat.
